AGM/Christmas party
WAAF treasurer's winning ways
WAAF treasurer, Ian Sclaeter, made a shrewd move by investing in raffle tickets at the AGM/Christmas party at Watford Museum on Wednesday, December 6.
Ian won first prize, a delicious hamper, presented here by hostess for the evening, Watford's manager of arts and culture, Marion Duffin, watched by WAAF chairman, Jaffer Bhimji.
In the true spirit of Christmas - enhanced by mulled wine and a bulging finger buffet provided by Watford Camera Club - Ian declined to claim the prize when another of his tickets proved a winner.
Business was brief and to the point. The committee was re-elected en bloc and members spent the rest of the time socialising, admiring the new gallery and marvelling at the welcoming private party atmosphere at the old Benskin house in Lower High Street, (Photo : Don Lanstone)
