Watford and Bushey Art Society

86th Spring Exhibition

Around 200 works by talented amateur and professional artists go on show in the Harlequin Centre from Saturday 12th May for one week at the Watford and Bushey Art Society 2007 Spring Exhibition. The popular annual event, now in its 86th year is a chance for society members to show some of their best work and for art lovers to pick up reasonably priced paintings. There are pictures to suit all tastes and pockets from bold and challenging abstracts, delicate and precise acrylics, majestic oils, flowing watercolours and sweeping pastels. In addition to hung works the browser stands contain superb selections of unframed watercolours and prints.

Owning and displaying original art is something very special, such work can transform a room and make wonderful presents.

The free exhibition is in the Harlequin Gallery, (take the escalator near Next to the third floor) until Saturday 19th May.

The Watford and Bushey Art Society meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 7.30 pm in Beechen Grove Baptist Church in Clarendon Road. For more information about the society visit the website on www.wbas.org or call Gerry Rees on 01923 226710.
