Happy ending for Fairy Tales challenge

The response to this year’s Richard Harrington Art and Literary Challenge was impressive in both quantity and quality.

Chairman of Watford Borough Council, Councillor George Derbyshire, expressed admiration for both visual artists and writers for the way they had responded to the challenging title, Fairy Tales, displaying a lot of imagination and talent exist in the town.

The popular annual competitions. organised for the Watford Live! festival by Watford Area Arts Forum, Watford Writers and Watford Museum came to a festive
conclusion with the Chairman presenting the cash and trophy prizes to the winners at the art exhibition at the museum last Saturday.
